Snowy mountains tops, breathtaking landscapes, wild sensations, a people ever so glamorous, hospitable, gullible lifestyles, are just the few expressions that would generally and individually sum up the recently concluded glamorous fashion event, Laikipia Fashion Gala 2016.
Why fashion? But because! Normal is boring. Once a while we must break the rules and follow our creative minds, design unique, or distinctive, peculiar if you like or limited creations that gives us a rush just by its mere glimpse. More so on a fashion runway. Nothing beats the feelings roused by the stampeding nerves right under our skin when we are on the runway or when we see something that gets us to cloud eleven, ON the runway! Its like Love at First Sight!

All there is to do now becomes, to sit back.....mmmh.... No actually, all that becomes of more importance is to stay alert and keep your hunger-for-fashion pangs on a leash. Because its explosion may be something that you would not want your grand children hearing about, a couple centuries down the line.
The #LaikipiaFashionGala was The Event! We all waited on it, prepared for it, danced to it, laughed with it, sank with it, dreamt of it ( During the planning of the first event, I had dreamt that the swimming pool in which we would be having the runway had grown really tall grass and it would then be impossible to do the event over the pool, I woke up to a thin streak of sweat down my neck, event planners will get me.), and we finally, delivered it.
Here is just a recap of all designers who were present, in the following days we shall be doing a profile on each of them, those who made it and also those who did not make it.
